Hello all,

I am just wondering if anything is happening with this project and if it will be updated for the new 2012 release of SQL Server. If so, then that would be great considering a web interface is so much easier to maneuver than the desktop interface provided by SSMS if you ask me. Thanks and please do let me know.

I have download and unzipped the code

when i ran the code in visual studio it gives error in web.config

Error 102 Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo, Version=9.0.242.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. E:\Language\SQLWebTools\SQLWebTools\src\sqltools\SqlWebAdminCS\Web.Config 69

i have visual studio 2010 and sql server 2008 developer edition

i tried to add reference but couldnt find microsoft.sqlserver.smo

where can i found smo.dll

Is there any working site with SQL Server Web Tools? I'm not sure if this is what I'm looking for, but I wish to have an environment where I can create tables, procedures and run SQL queries in a web environment since I can't install anything at work or college. It will provide a way for me to practice my skills without having to actually install SQL Server.

Is there anything happening with the SQL Server Web tools project? The MS hosting solution v4 links to this for a web based alternative for hosting clients wanting to access their SQL databases. It seemed like this would be perfect. Perhaps finally something equivalent to phpmyadmin only for MS SQL. However, it appears very alpha. Basic functionality such as browsing tables and changing field content is not working (ASP.NET error). Create table does nothing (looks like that one does not postback to the web.) Is this still a work in progress?

It looks like this call is failing: child["showAsTab"].ToLower() The reason you would get a null exception is if child didn't have a "showAsTab" attribute. Double-check your sitemap and be sure that you add the attribute "showAsTab" to all your sitemap nodes.

It looks like this call is failing:

child"showAsTab".ToLower()

The reason you would get a null exception is if child didn't have a "showAsTab" attribute.

Double-check your sitemap and be sure that you add the attribute "showAsTab" to all your sitemap nodes.

Installer.aspx ran fine and Admin account is in the db. Running in a virtual directory under a SharePoint Server 2007 virtual server (with Ttrust = Full).
